Having brought the sounds of Ibiza to Hop Farm this summer for a festival style day event, Circo Loco comes back to the UK on New Year’s Day and this time Circo Loco will be taking place in one of London's flagship music venues, Brixton Academy with a line-up of carefully selected Circo Loco legends. Out in force to carry you into the bright lights of 2013 will be Seth Troxler, the Michigan-born DJ, producer and label owner.
The Stone Roses recently announced three UK shows in June 2013. The group will play two nights in London’s Finsbury Park (June 7 and 8) and one show at Glasgow Green on June 15. The support for the Glasgow show is Primal Scream, Jake Bugg and The View, with London to be announced shortly.

Las Vegas based imprint, Riff Raff return with the ‘Feeling Dry’ EP by Mexican producer Christian Orlo, backed with remixes from Jimmy Maheras, 23rd Dimension and production outfit Riff Raff. Since launching back in late 2010 the Riff Raff imprint has released a good collection of deep, soul- laden house and electronica, as well as pulling in house veteran Jay Tripwire on remix duties and putting out collaborative works between Deneha and vocalist Cari Golden.

Germany’s Gomma label looks to the release of the debut album from Portuguese disco aficionado Luis Clara Gomes AKA Moullinex. The Munich based Gomma label has been driving influence on electronica and nu-disco since its inception in the late-90s, part of this influence has been the imprint’s dedication to developing artists through album releases. LPs from the likes of Headman, Who Made Who, Munk & the KDMS have helped shaped its musical landscape and now Gomma looks to one of its existing artists, Moullinex, for its next long player.

It’s just under 10 days from the start of “Sonar On Tour” – an eight-city tour of North America from Barcelona’s international and prestigious festival of advanced music and new media art. Last night, at the DJ Mag Awards show in Amsterdam, Armin van Buuren was named as number one DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 poll, the very first time in the history of the poll that a DJ has claimed back the number one position. The Dutch DJ, taking the lead in the popularity poll for an historic five times, also just announced the first dates and cities of his A State of Trance 600 world tour for next year. In April and March 2013, ASOT 600 shows will take place in cities such as Beirut, Kuala Lumpur and Den Bosch, with more cities to be announced soon.

Frankfurt label Romancity looks to fresh production talent Paul Müller for their second release backed with a remix package from Jori Hulkkonen, Matt Walsh & Lauer. The Romancity label is in no rush to conquer the world, having formed in 2010, the label’s first release dropped in 2011 and now as we enter the autumn of 2012 we have single number two. The debut release from young producer Ric Janvier featured a remix from 20:20 vision’s Random Factor and made an instant impact. Now the Frankfurt based imprint is teaming up with another fresh young producer, Paul Müller, for a single that once again features a decent remix package.
Ninety3 Records this week released a fresh EP from Oliver Lang, with all of the artists on the EP bringing their own visions to the original, giving it a very varied and eclectic combination of tracks. It kicks off with Oliver’s Original Mix of the track, a formation of electrical hits, effects and subtle drops, a perfect base for the three remixes on the EP. The second track of the collection is a huge remix by Seb Fontaine & Alex Blanco, and shows you how much of a different direction these artists were inspired to go. Big drops and long and varied build-ups, using samples from various genres, make this a decent track to check.

Castle Clvb is the new Edinburgh, Scotland space diversifying the city’s nocturnal offerings with acts like Jamie XX, Disclosure, Dusky and more already having played since opening in September. The three roomed club, formerly known as Berlin, is run by a 22-year old with a track record in promotion (thanks to his We Own night) with partner and nightclub designer, Grum Anderson. Having been three different clubs in the last three years, it’s aiming to educate, edify, amaze and uplift the Edinburgh scene. As such, it’s been fitted out with a Funktion One sound system and sensory tingling LED light panel.

Ultra Music Festival has now confirmed it will hold the 15thedition of its event over two three-day weekends March 15, 16 & 17 and March 22, 23 and 24, 2013. Strictly Rhythm has teamed up with the new Swedish DJ/producer duo CAZZETTE to release their debut compilation ‘Strictly CAZZETTE’, an 18 track DJ mix packed with their high energy brand of dub-house, a sub-genre that fuses 4/4 beats, house music’s highs and the stabbing basslines of dubstep. Released October 29 in mixed and unmixed formats, ‘Strictly CAZZETTE’ travels from underground club cuts to commercial flourishes.
Finnish trance duo Super8 & Tab have taken Armin van Buuren's summer track, 'I'll Listen', featuring Ana Criado and delivered a track that keeps the season's warmth alive on the dance floor. Originally released on September 17, 'I'll Listen' was the follow-up to Armin and Ana's 'Suddenly Summer,' which inserted nostalgic memories into the minds of partygoers at festivals and clubs around the world.

Progressive techno is the spinal cord of ‘Dark Matters’, with each track a journey through an atmospheric soundscape. It’s an intensely cerebral work, possibly music for the true connoisseur. The album comes with a hefty remix package based around the album’s tracks, ‘Viclone’, ‘M1’ and ‘Mongolium’.
Paul van Dyk will be bringing the music from his sixth artist album, ‘Evolution’, to the heart of Amsterdam’s cultural centre on the Wednesday of ADE week, where he’ll be performing the album’s music live. Fans will be able to hear ‘Eternity’, ‘The Ocean’, ‘Verano’, ‘I Don’t Deserve You’ and all the other album favourites, mixed, morphed, filtered, fused and thrust through Melkweg’s sound system.

‘Noxxebots Carnage’ is the latest release from electro artist and designer, Janski Beeeats. The Paris based manga and ‘80s video game fan (Jansé to his mum) has been quietly amassing a serious following for his 8-Bit releases, bringing him to the attention of French alt house label, Police Records. The music is a mixture of old school chip tunes, synthesized melodies and frenetic beats.
On October 27th CNL Events present a London first – a Supplement Facts label showcase headed by the boss Guy Gerber, with French house trio dOP and many more yet to be announced. Guy Gerber’s Supplement Facts seems to have had something of a renaissance recently. In the early days defined by Gerber’s own prog-tech-house aesthetic, an influx of new names like Ryan Crosson, Guti, Lee Curtiss and dOP have recently re-aligned it with a deeper, more organic template.
Production duo Jack Fell Down return with a new EP on Southern Fried Records featuring four tracks of deep house music. Jack Fell Down burst on to the UK music scene earlier this year, with their debut EP dropping on Fatboy Slim’s Southern Fried imprint. Hype had been building around this anonymous Irish duo for sometime thanks to a limited 12” bootleg that did the rounds and a number of free downloads that were made available to whet the musical appetite.
Microsoft and 343 Industries recently announced the series premiere of the live-action series, “Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn,” on Machinima’s new premium channel, Machinima Prime, and Halo Waypoint. The digital series will lead up to the launch of the “Halo 4” video game, one of the biggest entertainment events of the year.
Last year saw Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano made their debut at Passenger Terminal, Amsterdam during the world's biggest dance music gathering, ADE. This year, on Saturday October 20, the Dutch DJ duo returns to the scene of the crime with supporting DJ sets by Jaz von D and Randy Vicious. Promoter, ALDA Events, are already pushing a much bigger and heavier show, while the boys themselves are apparently itching to showcase their new sounds to the ADE crowd.

Joyce Muniz is a Vienna-based, Brazilian DJ, vocalist and producer who was introduced to 2020Vision by Maya Jane Coles. Joyce is currently one of the leaders of a new style which fuses European club sounds with rhythmic influences from South America and the Caribbean. She has collaborated with Stereotyp, Louie Austen and Munk, and her solo outings for Exploited have been well received.
Critical welcome back three talents from the world of D&B; long time scene veteran Sabre and songstress Riya alongside Critical label resident, Foreign Concept. Sabre makes a timely return since ‘Oblique’ hit the shelves at the start of the year and this time draws in the vocal dexterity of Riya, who sparkles over ‘Injustice’, a journey deep into the mind of the studio technician.
Label boss Steve Angello makes his solo return to Size Records with the recent release of ‘Yeah’. Having been a firm favourite with fans, both in its earlier incarnations and in its re-invigorated 2012 update, ‘Yeah’ has become a huge track for Angello. Steve also revealed that 50 cents from each sale of the record will go to his SIZE Foundation. Steve has multiple roles as a producer, remixer, DJ, label boss for Size Records, head of the Size Matters event brand and is one third of Swedish House Mafia.
Toolroom Records’ latest release expands the range of styles the imprint continues to push as ‘Do You Want Me Baby’ is brought back to life with an eclectic set of remixes. Alongside Victor Simonelli’s original Cloud 9 piece, it’s sounding as good today as it did back then. London-based duo Dusky are first to deliver a remix.
Space Ibiza has the key to close this summer season in Ibiza and Miami’s Ultra Music Festival will again be in charge of the Outdoor Car Park Area for this weekend’s Closing Party, hosting the Ultra Ibiza Stage for the occasion. Space Ibiza and Ultra, who also hosts massive festivals in the USA, South Korea, Brazil, Argentina and Chile have prepared for October 7th a pretty heavy line-up.
Nicky Romero recently announced that he will be releasing a remix package for his single ‘Iron’. The remix package, which features remixes from Dyro and Tony Romera, will be released on October 8 via Protocol Recordings. The first remix comes from Dyro, a fast-rising talent, and the second from France's rising star Tony Romera.

Snowbombing 2013 is once again inviting guests to take to the road in a journey across Europe – final destination Mayrhofen, Austria - forming just one small part of the Snowbombing festival experience.
