Secretsundaze founders James Priestley and Giles Smith continue to celebrate 20+ years of their house party, label and community with the release of their first documentary, made in partnership with audio equipment specialists Audio-Technica. Filmed over the course of their 20th anniversary in 2022, 'Hearts Not Hype' –produced by Heard – offers insight into their history while also going behind the scenes for the debut of their latest evolution – Spirit of Sundaze Ensemble.

Body Movements was started as an event to showcase the depth and breadth of the queer electronic music community in London, to celebrate the queer subcultures that provide a home for so many artists, crews, collectives and more. Last Saturday, the brand took over London club space Printworks, for a day-long session that brought together 5000+ queer and trans bodies, 30 artists and 13 crews in an industrial playground setting that provided an ideal backdrop for their first winter outing.

Dim Mak and founder Steve Aoki recently announced the US dates for Aoki’s HiROQUEST: Genesis Tour. This will be his first proper tour since the pandemic halted live shows, and sees support from support Dim Mak artist and friends including Timmy Trumpet, Slushii, 4B B2B JSTJR, Regard, Bok Nero, Callie Reiff, CHYL, Dr. Phunk, Juuku, KAAZE and RemK.

The Warehouse Project in Manchester recently revealed the full 2022 season with four months of events lined up. WHP22 will kick off from Saturday 10 September with a one day festival, Repercussion. Peggy Gou will land at Depot Mayfield on Friday 21 October for her only show in England after the summer – bringing her Gou Talk event series to Manchester for the very first time.

The Warehouse Project recently announced the opening sequence for the 2022 season. Returning to the confines of Depot Mayfield, WHP22 will run through to New Year’s Day. First up, Repercussion returns on Saturday 10 September for its second edition, to be hosted across the full expanse of Depot Mayfield and spreading into the adjacent Star & Garter with Boiler Room and a huge street party on neighbouring Temperance Street, curated by Mr Scruff.

Defected continues to set out plans for possibly its busiest year of events yet, recently announcing its North and South America tour for this March and April across five US cities and two shows in Brazil. Joining the label’s schedule for 2022, which includes the brand new Defected Malta festival this October, the already sold-out Defected Croatia festival in August, and club shows and festivals across the UK and Europe, this tour will kick off a summer of house music.

Streaming For Ukraine
