Empire of the Sun will play London’s Alexandra Palace on Saturday 27 June 2026, landing on what would traditionally be Glastonbury weekend during the festival’s fallow year, offering fans missing Worthy Farm an alternative live music fix. Delivering an evening of soundscapes, storytelling and visual artistry, the band aims to transform the venue.

This milestone marks the band’s first-ever appearance at Alexandra Palace, and their largest UK headline show to date, and will unveil an immersive stage production crafted specifically for the venue.
With Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore at the creative helm, they have cultivated a fanbase through their kaleidoscopic world-building, cinematic live presence and discography. Their recently released album, ‘Ask That God’, ushers in the new chapter.
The performance will offer a journey through their catalogue, which has amassed over 7.6 billion streams worldwide, interwoven with new material from their latest album.
With apparently ’34.5 million monthly Spotify listeners’, fans can expect their anthems alongside new works that reflect the band’s creative spirit.
