Brighton’s electronic music community comes together this month as Brighton Music Conference partners with Quarters to welcome Kenny Dope for an intimate seafront show on Friday, 22 May. Kenny has spent decades shaping house, hip hop, disco and breakbeat through his productions, DJ sets and label work. From Masters At Work classics to underground edits and rare groove selections, his feature rhythm, energy and musical history.

The event takes place at Quarters, one of Brighton’s newest independent venues. Opening last September, it has apparently built a reputation for its programming, sound and music-first atmosphere, earning trust from artists, promoters and dancers alike as a fresh addition to the city’s nightlife landscape.

Support comes from Brighton DJ duo Black Octopus, whose parties have become part of the city’s underground scene in recent years.

Liverpool-born DJ Anna Cee completes the line-up. From Suncebeat Croatia to UK festivals, international radio and club residencies, her sets aim to create a feel-good atmosphere.

As part of Brighton Music Conference week, this show is part of the BMC calendar.
