The label has once again partnered with football fashion brand Meyba to create the limited-edition shirt and this year's edition displays a new Defected worldwide globe icon and Defected 2026 football patch alongside a colourful, flags-of-the-world pattern down each sleeve that aims to represent the global nature of Defected and house music.

Experimental electronic artist and multi-instrumentalist Killian Walsh returns with new single ‘Let’s Play Bongos’, the latest track to be taken from his forthcoming album, ‘Ise’. Following the emotionally reflective first single ‘Let’s Float’ featuring Elise SW, the new release captures a different side of the album’s wider journey, embracing movement, release and reconnection through music.

Paul van Dyk is set to return to Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) with an open-to-close performance at Melkweg’s Rabozaal on 24 October. This year’s performance marks the fifth consecutive ADE appearance at Melkweg, with each edition apparently having sold out.

Following its opening party, Amnesia completes the season calendar for a summer celebrating 50 years of music and movement with new residencies, anniversary events, and cultural collaborations. Spanning three venues and over 24 hours of music, the start of Amnesia Ibiza’s 2026 season began with a warm-up at Cova-Santa, a 12-hour marathon at Amnesia with Josh Baker and Joseph Capriati closing the terrace at midday, and an open-invite after-party at Es Paradis.

It's been 30 years since the Trainspotting movie was released onto a largely unsuspecting public. Based on the cult novel by Irvine Welsh, the film was an award-winning film directed by Danny Boyle, which became a smash hit on release, propelling 'Born Slippy' by Underworld high into the charts and making household names of its reprobate characters Begbie, Renton, Spud and Sick Boy.

The successor to Christian Burns’s 2021 ‘Love Songs From Suburbia’ will be ‘Waking Up In A Northern Town’, and as both albums’ titles suggest, they’ll share a closely associated throughline. Further underscoring that are the five singles already drawn from ‘Northern Town’s wider body: ‘Darker Days’, ‘I Will Follow’ and, most recently, ‘Strangers’ among them.
