Freeze brings Luciano & Friends to Liverpool, UK for a rare one off gig at St George’s Hall on Saturday June 22. From the Cadenza crew, Luciano is joined by Reboot, Andrea Olivia and Argy, with more acts yet to be announced. St George’s Hall is one of Liverpool’s most iconic buildings, a majestic and draw-dropping beautiful setting.

London-based Biologic Records return this April with ‘Juan El Jefe’ by Spanish trio Gameboyz, backed with a Marc Pinol remix. Biologic Records’ roster hosts the likes of Clouded Vision artist Morgan Hammer, and Dame Music / Highgrade artist Attan, and was established by Abstraxion and DC Salas as a platform to release intelligent electronic music across the board. 

2020 Vision welcomes a new name on to its roster this April with the ‘Frisson’ EP by Rosco Sledge. Rosco Sledge may be a new name to take on board, but the Brazilian producer and Christian Smith affiliate has been plugging away in the underground for nearly a decade now under various monikers, and this new Sledge alias is yet another platform for him to release the new sounds he’s been experimenting with. 

Earlier this year the Visionquest collective: Seth Troxler, Lee Curtiss, Shaun Reeves, and Ryan Crosson announced Visionquest Thirteen. This year, Visionquest Thirteen will feature showcases at festivals such as Glastonbury in the UK, Mysterylands Netherlands, Creamfields Buenos Aires, Time Warp in Germany and Movement in Turin.

After a successful IMS USA Symposium in 2012 at Coachella, the Ibiza summit IMS hosts its first one-day event in America on Wednesday April 17 at W Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. A series of un-moderated conversations, consisting of seven pairs of speakers, will address the growing influence and prominence of electronic music in America and beyond. 

Calvin Harris was recently announced as weekly resident for BCM Mallorca in the year that the club turns 25. Within that time it has established itself as one of the largest and most visited clubs in the world, a place that fun is front and centre, where people all over the world come and lose their inhibitions beneath massive ice cannons and foam machines.

Dirty Dutch figurehead Chuckie, label mate BetaTraxx and ex Guns N Roses guitarist Slash joined forces for a surprise performance at Ultra Music Festival Miami last Saturday. Chuckie invited the artists on to the stage during his set for a premiere of their never-heard-before collaborative track 'Rocktronica', with Slash playing the guitar and BetaTraxx on the piano.

Ultra Music Festival officially concluded this past weekend as its most successful and record-breaking year yet! More than 330,000 electronic and live music enthusiasts descended upon downtown Miami’s transformed Bayfront Park to attend the annual event, which took place over two weekends for the first time in its 15-year history.

Dale Howard launches a new mix series, ‘Prime Cuts’ for Lost My Dog in April. The concept for the series is simple with Lost My Dog artists selecting their favourite tracks from the label’s extensive catalogue, and throwing in a couple of their own new productions for good measure. 

After nine years of parties mulletover gets set for their 9^th birthday party tomorrow night. Headlining the 2013 mulletover event is possibly one of the biggest names in underground music, Maceo Plex. Also appearing on the night, supplying her melodic underground house beats, is Francesca Lombardo.

Parov Stelar Band has announced three UK live dates in May and June 2013. The gigs in London and Manchester come hot on the heels of their new album ‘The Invisible Girl’, out now on Etage Noir Recordings. The band kick things off in Manchester on Monday May 30 at The Academy, followed by two back-to-back dates at the London Forum in Kentish Town, NW5 (May 31 and June 1).

As Miami Music Week and Ultra Music Festival 2013 reached its peak last weekend, Fedde le Grand alongside Canadian rising stars Sultan and Ned Shepard, recently sent out a Postcard From Miami, a visual love letter to the crowds that have attended the Road To Ultra Tour and beyond.

We Love... moves into its 15^th year on Ibiza this summer, kicking off for 17 weeks from Sunday 9^th June. Full On Recordings is a new label from React Music Group, which specialises in house, progressive and electronic dance music styles. The label's first album release, ‘Miami Heat Volume 1’, features 14 new house, progressive and electro tracks by five different up and coming DJ/producers including Argento, Dr Kisch, John Moss, Chris Online and Fox Macleod and is out now.

The second installment of the “Bedrock Underground Sound Of Miami” series continues where last year’s debut left off and features 11 totally exclusive tracks selected by John Digweed from some new names to the Bedrock roster, alongside some of the label’s favourite producers in the form of Robert Babicz, Pig&Dan, Marco Bailey and Guy J.

Sandy Rivera’s latest release under his Kings of Tomorrow moniker highlights that his burgeoning relationship with UK singer April Morgan is going from strength to strength and possibly underlines his status as one of the top house music artists over the past two decades.

The Armada Trance series was recently released, bringing you the latest tracks of 2013. Going strong for nearly six years, the popular compilation keeps track of the latest trends of the ever-evolving trance scene. The latest edition, ‘Armada Trance Volume 17’ includes tracks by Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, W&W, Dash Berlin, Solarstone and many more.

There is just five days left for Scotland’s unsigned bands and solo artists to submit their demos for the chance of playing the T Break Stage at T in the Park 2013. Each year Tennent’s Lager offer 16 of the country’s freshest unsigned acts the chance to join some of the world’s biggest artists on the T in the Park bill. Acts have until midnight on Friday 29^th March to enter T Break 2013.

Next month, Miss Nine returns with the third instalment of her label’s ‘Around The World’ album series. Inspired by religious Hindu spring festival Holi, the theme for this follow up edition in the ATW series is ‘Colours’ – a symbolic gesture to the unity and energetic liberty discovered on the dancefloor. Showcasing the musical direction of Miss Nine, the mix weaves between progressive-tech house and big room electro featuring tracks from imprints such as Toolroom Records, Spinnin’ Records, Armada, Nettwerk Productions, Zouk Recordings, Doorn Music and Nine’s own 925 Music label.

Fehrplay delivers his fourth release for Pryda Friends, coming back with the track ‘Phantom’. With its massive piano line, driving drums, rolling bass and percussion, this could be a biggie over the next few months, starting at Miami Music Week where he'll be spinning at Space alongside Eric Prydz, Pete Tong and Joris Voorn tonight.

On February 18, Tomorrowland announced plans for a second 2013 edition, TomorrowWorld in the Chattahoochee Hills, USA. Taking place on September 27, 28 and 29, this location, just 30 minutes from the Atlanta International Airport, will be transformed to entertain possibly 150,000 revellers from around the world. After an extensive trawl across the globe with well over 100 sites under evaluation, the Tomorrowland team settled on Chattahoochee Hills (aka Bouckaert Farm), with the site itself owned by fellow Belgian Carl Bouckaert. 

From working alongside some of the world’s biggest pop stars (think Michael Jackson, Will Smith, Pet Shop Boys, Pitbull) to crafting seminal and timeless underground house, Marc Kinchen – better known by his alias MK – is a craftsmen of modern-day music. 

Since launching in 2004, Laidback Luke’s Mixmash Records have released music from names such as Tiesto, A-Trak, Steve Aoki, Steve Angello, Afrojack and Laidback Luke himself. With the recent announcement of a new sub-label - Ones To Watch Records - it seems a logical step for them to now pursue some of the best in new and unheard music, to promote the next generation of producers. 

Brand new US based house label Silence in Metropolis launches with a single from Dale Howard backed with remixes from Leftwing & Kody and JMF. Liverpool’s Dale Howard burst onto the scene four years ago with releases on Neurotraxx, Starlight and Sleaze Records. Since then his music has found a home with labels such as Morris Audio, OFF Recordings and Noir.

Ahead of the release of his latest artist album, Sid Le Rock drops ‘Foreign Love’ on My Favorite Robot Records backed with remixes from Acid Pauli and Brett Johnson. Sheldon Thompson AKA Sid Le Rock originally hailed from the Northern extremes of Ontario, Canada, where his search for meaning led him to discover techno in its spiritual home, Detroit, before moving to musical hotbed Toronto and finally settling in the Berlin where he now resides. 

The Startalk International label returns with a brand new single from French producer Morgan Hammer featuring remixes from Vosper, The Countach & Zombies in Miami. Startalk International label bosses, David Boswell And Nicco Eastwood AKA Hiem, kicked the label off with ‘The Escape From Division Street’ album which was followed up by a single from People Get Real, picking up support from DJs such as Disco Bloodbath, Matt Walsh, Remain & Horse Meat Disco. 

Amidst his current Winter Music Conference/Miami Music Week tour, Dutch house DJ/producer Gregor Salto received word that he is the recipient of an ASCAP (American Association of Composers, Authors & Publishers) Latin award for ‘Echa Pa’lla’, his hit single with multi-platinum selling artist Pitbull.

Following on from his last Toolroom track ‘Touched’, EDX urges in the summer with more unmistakable vibes, this time exhibited within the soundscape ‘Blessed’. With engineering that embodies warmth, clarity, depth and punch, the track’s vocals standout from many other tracks within the same genre.

Sankeys Ibiza recently confirmed that UK imprint Hypercolour will be joining the club this season. Crowned 'Label of the Year' by DJ Mag in their recent Best of British Awards, Hypercolour will be taking up residency every Monday for 14 parties throughout the summer. The imprint that was founded by Jamie Russell and Alex Jones in 2006, has built its reputation on releasing top house and techno records, rather than hyperbole. 

Large Music continues to gain momentum in the deep house and garage revival of 2013 with this new release from Detroit Swindle man Lars Dales, under his freshly coined Lars Vegas moniker. For those in the know, Lars Vegas is the alias for Lars Dales who has cemented a reputation for quality house grooves as one half of the dynamic duo Detroit Swindle. 

Released this week on ThisIsArea7, ‘Where Did You Go’ is the debut single from London based soul singer-songwriter Shea. With a timeless sound encompassing contemporary themes of abandonment, Shea’s single brings together classic soul and jazz influences in a classy and heartfelt lament. 

Steve Lawler & VIVa MUSiC release his first EP of 2013, ‘Avaida (The Organ Track)’, a special release for Steve as it’s named after his daughter to be, whom will be born this month. The track is known for its characteristic organ interludes and was huge throughout the VIVa Warriors season 2012 in Ibiza. Now it finally gets the official release as a special vinyl picture disc. 

On April 8, American DJ/producer Topher Jones releases his latest single, 'Save Me,' on Ultra Records. The follow-up to his November track, 'Hello Chicago', 'Save Me' will be Topher's sixth single on Ultra. This latest production finds him once again partnering with Chicago-bred singer/songwriter James Bowers, the vocalist on Topher's single 'Lost It All.'

Marquee nightclub has teamed up with Black Hole Recordings to launch a new compilation series. The series, which features new and exclusive tracks from its resident DJs and a host of other affiliated artists, serves as a showcase for the club, which now has locations in NYC, Las Vegas and Sydney. 

Switzerland’s Mina Records returns with a brand new single from label boss Masaya, featuring two news cuts of house music backed with remixes from Mihai Popoviciu and Anders Ilar. Claudia Ayala AKA Masaya has been a respected member of house music’s inner sanctum since the release of her collaborative single with Ripperton on the Num Records label back in 2006. 

Following the summer 2012 track ‘Through The Night’, Drumsound & Bassline Smith are back next month with their new single ‘One In A Million’, featuring the sensuous vocals of Fleur. 2012 highlighted with two UK top 40 singles in ‘What Can You Do For Me’, a collaboration with Utah Saints, and their own Radio 1 A-list track, ‘Through The Night’.

Jamie Jones’ new label Hot Trax, a subsidiary to Hot Creations, focuses on a more ‘underground dancefloor orientated aesthetic’ with its first release coming from Jamie himself. The second output sees newcomer Patrick Topping showcase his talent with a highly impressive debut release, ‘Walk On’.

London-based producer Ben Gold has found success as one of the leading talents on the Garuda Music imprint and has continued to release some of the label's biggest tracks. Now, on April 1, he releases two new tracks ‘Mesocyclone’ and ‘Why Not?’.
’Mesocyclone’'s lively chord progressions combined with a hint of mysterious female vocals and deep bass has found the track already receiving radio support from Armin van Buuren and Gareth Emery.

‘Fade Away’ is the new single from Vitalic, due out on April 29 through Different Recordings. It is the second track to be taken from the ‘Rave Age’ album and comes complete with a deluxe remix package. The brutalist roar of French producer Pascal Arbez and his trademark bleeding edge techno is in this instance juxtaposed by this synth-pop cut. 

Nokia and La Blogotheque recently announced that their first Lumia Live Session will be headlined by Ghostpoet on March 27. Ghostpoet will be performing to an intimate audience of just 150 people in the acoustically perfect Anglican Chapel in Arnos Grove Cemetery, Bristol. 

After a three-year absence, mUmU & Freeze join together to bring The Zoo Project back to Liverpool with Channel Zoo for a huge Easter Sunday party ahead of another big year in Ibiza. The Zoo Project / Channel Zoo parties are known as hedonistic escapes from the world in the old abandoned zoo, just outside San Antonio. 

Diynamic Neon Nights hits Nikki Beach, Miami on March 20 for their first ever event in the USA. Label boss Solomun, recently voted as 'DJ Of The Year' in Mixmag, will headline, and will be bringing over most of the Diynamic crew from Europe, including H.O.S.H, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Stimming, David August, Uner, Adriatique, Hunter/Game and DJ Phono.

Released at the beginning of this month, 'Trusting Me' is the new single from Kris Menace featuring house legend, Robert Owens and is taken from the album, ‘Features’. The remix package includes mixes from Kitsuné producer Le Crayon, Dusty Kid, Penner & Muder, Good Guy Mikesh & Filburt, Phunktastike, Taras 9000 and Piconome. 

Nikki Williams' first single ‘Glowing’ showcased many sides of the up and coming artist. Now, remixes by Fedde Le Grand and Swedish duo Cazzette are available, as Nikki gets set for closing Fedde Le Grand’s set on the main stage at Ultra Music Festival this Friday, March 15.

Defected In The House returns to Ministry of Sound on Saturday April 13 for the second instalment of its 2013, Season in London, this time with Dennis Ferrer, Noir, Copyright, Lovebirds, NICe7 and Santé taking control. Dennis Ferrer was last seen performing for Defected at the London NYE show and Noir’s ‘In The House’ mix collection was named Album of the Month and labelled “essential” by Mixmag.

It’s taken Armin van Buuren three years to complete his fifth full-length studio album, ‘Intense’, the follow-up to his 2010 artist album ‘Mirage’. ‘Intense’ will be released by Armada Music on May 3 and on April 5, the first single from the album will be released: ‘This Is What It Feels Like’ featuring Trevor Guthrie. That same date, it will also be released on the brand new ANA (Armada North America) label, a sub-label of Armada Music focusing on North-American territories.

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment recently announced the launch of Evolution 93.5 Miami, its second broadcast Electronic Dance Music (EDM) station. The new format will feature non-stop dance tracks by artists including Skrillex, David Guetta, Calvin Harris and more. Evolution 93.5 Miami will kick off its launch with two All Gone Pete Tong parties featuring Pete Tong, Evolution’s ambassador DJ on March 16 and 22, at The Surfcomber Hotel on Miami Beach.

Time Warp Mannheim 2013 recently announced its complete line-up, bringing together DJs such as Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Ricardo Villalobos, Loco Dice and Marco Carola to the Maimarkthalle on April 6. More than 40 DJs and five live-acts are performing and alongside known faceslike Sven Väth and Richie Hawtin, there is a mixture of new and emerging names on the bill this year.

This year’s line up at Space will be announced in three phases, covering four weeks at a time as Carl Cox and Safehouse Management recently revealed who’s playing the first four nights of Carl Cox’s Space Ibiza parties.

What began as a few spontaneous DJ sets between good friends and collaborators has grown into a hybrid stage persona. The result is the New World Punx (NWP), the high-energy DJ duo consisting of Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten. The name derives from Ferry Corsten’s anthem, ‘Punk’ and Markus Schulz’s track, ‘The New World’.

Following on from 2010’s album ‘Inside’, Spanish duo Aphro and Pablo Bolívar aka Pulshar return to Desolat with the ‘Different Drum EP’. Opener, ‘Wasting Time’, is a collaboration with Desolat label head Loco Dice. The track, which was creating during a jam session between these friends, is a deep and twisted journey, with ocean-deep sub-bass, and features a synth line from Loco Dice in addition to his own distorted vocals which echo in and out of the music.

The Def Mix party crew get set to party at the Vagabond on Saturday, marking 26 annual events at Miami's WMC! The Godfathers, Frankie Knuckles and David Morales will be joined by new Def Mix member Quentin Harris in the main room, with Hector Romero and Brazil's DJ Meme at the controls in the bar. Outside in the garden, David's son, Brandon Morales, will be performing alongside Dave Pachanga and Micky Tomasino.

Red Bull recently announced the line up for the Red Bull Guest House in Miami on March 21-24, with Skrillex, A-Track, Jamie XX, Carl Craig, Juan Maclean, Baauer and more just some of the artists set to perform.

From his acid-jazz, soul tinged debut album ‘Welcome To The Best Years Of Your Life’, to the 2011 house LP ‘There's More To Life Than This’ (Strictly Rhythm), Ben Westbeech has shown his artistic range. His alter ego Breach burst onto the scene in 2010 with 'Fatherless', showing a rawer side to his productions. Now he has teamed up with dirtybird for the full release of 'Jack'. 

Australian dance music duo, the Stafford Brothers, have been commissioned to produce the Official Future Music Festival 2013 anthem, ‘Hands Up’, released via Future Music / EMI / Universal this week. Each year the brothers are the official hosts of the main-stage of Future Music Festival playing alongside and presenting artists such as Skrillex, Swedish House Mafia, and Fatboy Slim, among others.

After a six year hiatus Mr.C’s Superfreq label is back with a new single from the man himself. The Superfreq label was originally launched by Mr.C and Luke vB back in 2004 as an extension of Mr.C’s Superfreq club brand born from the monthly night at his legendary club, The End. Music from Mr.C alongside productions from the likes of Levon Vincent, Adultnapper and Barbq kept the label on the edgier side of electronic music before it came to a halt in 2007. Now with a new label partner in the shape of David Scuba, Mr.C and Luke vB are back.

Lifestyle publication Flaunt Magazine recently announced its 2013 official South by Southwest (SXSW) music showcase for the festival on Tuesday, March 12, in Austin, Texas. The showcase, They Want You To Get Drunk On Feeling Like You Belong, will be held at Austin's The North Door and features a progressive mix of international and Austin-based talent.

Matt Tolfrey’s Leftroom Limited releases Sam Russo’s ‘Losing Things’ today, backed with a remix from Jack Dixon. Sam Russo has had a long running relationship with the Leftroom label and his collaborative EP, ‘The Summer Soundtrack’, with Huxley back in 2011 led to a string of further releases on the imprint, as well as other labels such as OFF Recordings, Air London, 1trax and Fullbarr.

‘Back To Basics’ is the debut album from Around 7 and the first release on new label Robsoul Jazz, an offshoot of the Robsoul Recordings house label run by Phil Weeks. The album and new label focus on laid-back jazz, hip hop and broken beats, and also reflect the art of sampling. Hip Hop influences such as J Dilla and DJ Premier are in heavy evidence, alongside the jazz of Miles Davis, Bill Evans and the legendary Blue Note Records.

‘Blackout’ is the first single to be released from Wretch 32’s forthcoming third studio album. Premiered on MistaJam’s Radio 1Xtra show, the track was produced by emerging talent Knox Brown who hails from Birmingham and created the record in his bedroom studio. Wretch 32 was the first British grime artist to sample a peer when he used Kano’s ‘P’s and Q’s’ for his club track ‘Pop?’ earlier this year. 

Ultra Music Festival in Miami recently announced that for the first time ever, all six days of their dance music event will be streamed live over two weekends. Available to stream for fans the world over, and with no geo-blocking, you’ll now be able to rock da house as if you were actually there, live on Ultra’s official YouTube channel UMF TV. Continuing the R:Evolution, EXIT festival recently revealed the second wave of headliners for this year’s festival. Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion and Bloc Party will join the already announced Atoms for Peace (Tom Yorke’s from Radiohead’s new project) to rock the Petrovaradin Fortess, with many more to be announced. Taking place from 10 - 14 July, the 14^th edition of the festival will serve up five days of music and entertainment under the hot Balkan sunshine.



Proving that good electronic dance music can come from absolutely anywhere in the world, just 1210KM east of Australia is a group of islands known as New Caledonia, right in the heart of the southwest Pacific Ocean. It’s here that you will find Oniris, the producer behind Bedrock’s latest release, ‘The Rebirth | Leaving Earth’, and the creator of possibly some of the most sublime melodic techno that you will hear this year.

‘Get Hyper’ is the debut high octane D&B release from Driodeka, the 18-year-old  producer and DJ that has burst onto the scene.  The track has been attracting heat since it was first used by blogger KSI in his risqué Sunday Q & A session before being quickly picked up by BBC Radio 1 DJs Phil Taggert and Zane Lowe.

Following Miguel Bastida & Florian Kaltstrøm’s ‘De Barcelona a Viena EP’ and Two Hand Salute’s ‘Scale Up’ / ‘We Are Drum’ offering, comes a peak-time double-header resulting from a new collaboration between Marco Bailey and Filterheadz.

From its humble beginnings, Cadenza Music reaches 10 years in the business in 2013. To celebrate, the label will see exciting new music projects and unique events around the world, including a number of parties during Miami WMC. Miami kicks off with a Cadenza Showcase on March 17 at Wall, where Reboot heads up alongside Michel Cleis and Technasia. 

Ovum returns to Miami on Saturday March 16 and joins up with some of their top friends in dance music. In the Ovum Room, Josh Wink - who is set to release his first EP in four years next month, a ten-minute drive of beats bating towards a huge breakdown, entitled 'Balls', because he said you need them to play it - will headline. 

2020 Vision drop ‘Surreal’ by Mancunian producer Freak Seven, backed with remixes from Sebo K & Dario Zenker. Naveed Akhtar aka Freak Seven has been involved with electronic music for over a decade, first stepping on to the scene with releases under his own name for Regal sub-label New Religion. Akhtar has since gone on to release singles for the likes of Rush Hour, Ilian Tape and released ‘We Bring The Music’ on 2020 Vision back in January 2012.

A huge line-up of beats and bass music DJs are donating their services for free at the end of this month for a benefit gig in aid of Sonia Akow. Shy FX, Krafty Kuts, B-Traits, Dub Pistols, Elite Force, Freestylers, Deekline & Ed Solo and Shut Up & Dance are just some of the names turning out to play at The Egg in Kings Cross, London on the night of Thursday March 28.

With an international touring schedule and a succession of releases, Alesso continues to build his international profile. Michael Woods and Diffused Music bring together Paul Thomas and Andrew Bennet for their next release. Paul Thomas, fresh off the back of his release on Funkagenda's Funk Farm, joins up with Diffused HQ favourite Andrew Bennett for this year's Global Gathering official anthem, ‘Datfunk’.

Out April 8, ‘Kick Snare And An Idea Part 1’ is the first of two upcoming singlesunder the ‘Kick Snare And An Idea’ banner, from the Mercury nominated producer and rapper Ty. The lead track on this release, ‘Like You Never’, is a deep and multi-layeredcut that finds Ty setting out his stall and airing his concerns about the state of the music scene today, his philosophical and measured flow carried up on a euphoric melodic hook to a resolute chorus. The video premiere for the track hit over 20,000 YouTube hits in a week.

The Playground hits KOKO in London on Easter Thursday March 28 with Vitalic as the headliner. Pascal Arbez, better known by his stage name Vitalic, is a French electronic artist, songwriter and remixer who to date has released three studio albums – his debut ‘OK Cowboy’, ‘Flashmob’ and the most recent, ‘Rave Age,’ which was released on November 5 last year.

Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub in Las Vegas recently announced Summer Lovin’ with Kaskade, a residency for 2013 which will bring the GRAMMY-nominated DJ to the venue for 24 performances over 16 weeks during the spring and summer seasons. For 12 weekends, from May through August, Kaskade brings his sound to Marquee, in what should be some top parties for the top venue.

Audiojack’s Gruuv imprint kicks off 2013 will a five track EP from Tom Budden & Forrest, featuring reworks from Coat Of Arms, OOFT! and X-Press 2. Tom Budden has been heavily involved in the industry for several years now, working with the likes of Time Has Changed and Suara and launched his own label, Alive, in 2008, which has welcomed artists in the shape of KRL, Rebel, Bubba & T-Bone and Chris James onto its roster. 

The Madrid-based Depaart imprint returns this month with its fifth release, ‘Loose Feelin’’ by Georgeous, backed with remixes from Evan Iff and Sidechains. Depaart launched in 2012 with releases from label-heads Moliner and Georgeous, picking up support from the likes of DJ Deep, 6th Borough Project, Wolf Music and Iron Curtis to name a few. This release marks the fifth release for the label and again shows its tasteful approach towards electronic music.



Christian Smith gets set to release his new album ‘Omakase’, which translates as tasting menu or entrust in Japanese, and is the follow-up to his ‘Director’s Cut’ (Tronic, 2010) album. Christian has created a dancefloor-orientated selection of tracks that explore and showcase his various styles within the techno genre: groovy, musical, peak-time and minimal.

The Other Tribe recently announced a run of shows in April and May. They’ve been holed up in their studio in the Bristol countryside through the winter, producing the tracks that will make up their debut album due out late summer. In 2012, they urged people to ‘join the tribe’; and wherever the band went, the party vibe followed.

Pete Tong and Skream join forces on ‘All Gone Pete Tong & Skream Miami 2013’, which includes tracks and remixes from Hot Natured, Maya Jane Coles, Dusky, Jamie Jones, Midland, Maceo Plex and many more, with 11 of the tracks exclusive to the compilation. Tong – along with studio partner Paul Rogers - provides a new original production in ‘Dance With The Devil’ and a brand new reworking of Hot Natured’s ‘Assimilation’, both of which are exclusives.

Sebastian Ingrosso recently announced his headline Miami show at Story, South Beach on March 21, bringing his label friends with him - Tommy Trash and Otto Knows! Sebastian had a top 2012, heading up Refune's strongest year ever with ‘Calling’, his recording with Alesso and Ryan Tedder.

On May, Armin van Buuren will release his new artist album, titled ‘Intense’. The five times voted #1 DJ in the world announced the follow-up to his successful 2010 ‘Mirage’ album last night, during his A State of Trance radio show. ‘Intense’ is an album more diverse than any of Armin’s previous albums, crossing over from progressive and trance to classic and rock.

Maintaining a successful 10-year long career in dance music (is it really that long?) is no mean feat and The Shapeshifters (AKA Simon Marlin and his Swedish partner Max Reich) have not only managed to stay fresh throughout the course of their career, but they are possibly one of the UK's most successful dance acts ever. Their hits include the classic ‘Lola's Theme’ to ‘Back To Basics ‘and ‘Incredible’ and don’t forget the remixes for the likes of George Michael, Christina Aguilera, Moby and Cee Lo Green amongst many others.
