Exit 2013 Revolution

Continuing the R:Evolution, EXIT festival recently revealed the second wave of headliners for this year’s festival. Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion and Bloc Party will join the already announced Atoms for Peace (Tom Yorke’s from Radiohead’s new project) to rock the Petrovaradin Fortess, with many more to be announced. Taking place from 10 - 14 July, the 14th edition of the festival will serve up five days of music and entertainment under the hot Balkan sunshine.

Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion last performed at EXIT in 2007. During his performance he defiantly declared: "This ain't the last time you're gonna see this face." And now he’s back, a huge artist with over 30 million albums sold worldwide. Snoop Lion is a new moniker of the multi-platinum artist, and is set to release Reincarnated, the multi-media project capturing Snoop's exploration of reggae music and spiritual growth.

British indie rock heavy weights Bloc Party will be playing EXIT and in Serbia for the first time. In 2012 the band released their long awaited comeback album dubbed, 'Four', following the band’s three-year hiatus. Having released their debut album, 'Silent Alarm', in 2005, which went platinum, the band have released a total of four albums which have sold over two million worldwide. 

 

Dance artists already revealed to play at this year’s event include Seth Troxler, Dubfire, Pan-Pot, Matador live, Subb An b2b Adam Shelton, Apollonia and Deniz Kurtel. For further info, check: www.exitfest.org
