Cocoon returns with its latest mix compilation, the 10th and final instalment in their annual in-house series from Chris Tietjen. Titled ‘Zehn’, the mix cd finds former intern turned Sven Vath protégé Chris take to the helm to represent the Cocoon sound once again. What makes this chapter interesting is that it’s a retrospective selection from the past decade with Tietjen picking 36 tracks from the label’s catalogue organising it into one 80-minute mix.

Wall of Sound recently announced details of a new label compilation ‘Walls Have Ears-21 Years Of Wall Of Sound’ to be released on 13 April 2015 through [PIAS]. The brainchild of Mark Jones - 1994 saw the launch of Wall Of Sound, and following the underground acid-house explosion of the preceding years, set about unleashing a catalogue of releases that were to become synonymous with the era; mixing sonics and genres together. Bass music artist Benny Page recently announced his new single, ‘Party With You’ featuring Sweetie Irie, to be released by High Culture and Rise Artists on 29 March 2015 and premiered by Mistajam on BBC Radio 1. Following on from the success of ‘Champion Sound’, his previous hit single, Benny has been recognised for his work, which was noted by his first live concert being sponsored by DJ Mag at The Jazz Cafe in London.
