Movement Torino Music Festival, the Italian cousin of the cult Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF), pushes into its ninth season this year with another week long event planned between Saturday 24 October and Sunday 2 November. As well as the festival growing each year, so too has the Movement brand grown in the last 12 months with a European Summer tour in Zurich and some key events in collaboration with DC10 in Ibiza behind them, as well as a national Road Tour kicking off 29 September. 

In celebration of Tomorrowland's 10 year anniversary a unique compilation album titled 'Music Will Unite Us Forever - 10 Years of Madness' will be released this summer. Due for UK release on the 29th September, this 3 CD compilation combines exclusive mixes from some of the world's best known DJ’s along with 20 festival anthems from across the past 10 years.

Released earlier this summer, Rusko’s ‘!’ EP demonstrated his technical skill along with his knack for genre-blending the latest styles. Proving his worth, the Leeds-born-L.A.-based bass DJ is set to release his latest track ‘! Volume 2’.

As Watergate carries into its 12th year, it seems more than fitting and possibly long overdue, that Pan-Pot, who has been an integral part for nearly the entire lifespan of the club, will be curating the 17th installment of the Watergate CD series. In just 19 tracks the techno DJ/producers have compiled a mix of both new and exclusive material as well as a couple timeless collaborations that showcase their sound all while delivering the audience a taste of a night out at the acclaimed club no matter where they happen to be in the world.

Miami trio Brass Knuckles are back with their latest track ‘Water Gun’, which is out now on all digital music portals through Ultra Music and has already been receiving support from Tiesto, Danny Howard, Sirius XM and more. The track hits you in the face with a cool dose of upbeat piano melodies and sing-along vocals by John Ryan urging you to get your groove on. 

Released 21 September on Defected Records, ‘Defected Presents House Masters Masters At Work’ is a collection of 40 original tracks and remixes from possibly the most impressive discography in house music. Masters At Work, the ground-breaking project of Louie Vega and Kenny Dope, forged a reputation for genre-eschewing DJ sets and flawless house production throughout their careers, while their influence and reach arguably changed house music forever.

As TomorrowWorld prepares to kick-off its second edition this September, it recently revealed its theme, “The Arising of Life,” alongside the Official 2014 TomorrowWorld trailer. Transforming 500 acres of natural rolling hills in Chattahoochee Hills (Atlanta), Georgia this 26, 27 and 28 September, TomorrowWorld will create a dream world featuring several stage structures and a Main Stage highlighting some of the best electronic artists in the world.

Jaymo & Andy George offer up the ‘In My Way’ EP via their Moda Black imprint this October, comprising two original tracks from the duo. The track takes the lead, baring all the hallmarks of J&AG’s recent products. Laden with warm textures and oscillating toplines, the first half of the track sets a seductively mellow foundation. Justin Martin brings the Dirty Bird BBQ to Toronto on Sunday 7 September, at the Sherbourne Common for a day full of their signature bass driven brand of house music. To headline the BBQ will be Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, J. Phlip, Christian Martin, Ardalan and Talal & Zoi.

Café Mambo is staging the third Mambo In The Mix charity event in conjunction with its 20^th Anniversary celebrations on Tuesday 9 September 2014. The legendary sunset destination and free party hub has once again joined forces with the Red Cross in Ibiza and Formentera to invite some of the world’s biggest electronic music DJs to offer their services for free for the charity event. Café Mambo has raised over 60,000 Euros in the last two years.

Ferry Corsten recently released his new track ‘Hyper Love’, which is out now on Flashover Recordings. The track debuted during his ‘Full On Ibiza’ residency at Space last Friday and received its worldwide premiere on Sirius XM a few days later. The track showcases Ferry’s song-writing ability, with light piano chords and a classic breakdown acting as the accompaniment for Nat Dunn’s vocal.

This Autumn, from 19 – 21 September Defected In The House hits three venues across South East Asia, with Sonny Fodera and Simon Dunmore flying the house flag. First stop on the tour is Kyō, Singapore. Tucked away in the basement of a tower in the city’s bustling business district, Kyō could possibly lay claim to boasting one of the most forward-thinking music policies in East Asia, with previous guests including Midland, Wolf + Lamb, Levon Vincent, and Danny Krivit.

EA SPORTS™ recently announced that last season’s PFA Young Player of the Year and PFA Team of the Year, Eden Hazard, will make his debut on the cover of EA SPORTS FIFA 15 – due out 25 September in Europe and 26 September in the UK and Ireland. The 23 year old Belgian had an outstanding season for Chelsea in the 2013/14 campaign with 14 goals, seven assists and 92 chances created from his 35 appearances. 

In what is the first of a cornucopia of new productions throughout the latter half of 2014, this month heralds Paul van Dyk's return to the singles realm. 'Come With Me (We Are One)' finds Paul back in the studio with Turkish/Dutch producer Ummet Ozcan. The outcome is an infectious and effective piece of floor-propelling electronic music.

Two of Tiesto’s 2014 singles, 'Wasted (featuring Matthew Koma) and 'Red Lights', have just gone Gold as certified by the RIAA for digital sales in excess of 500,000. These are his first Gold plaques in the States, and these tracks are also available on his fifth full-length album, ‘A Town Called Paradise’ (Casablanca Records/ Republic Records/ Musical Freedom), which is out now.

Melbourne house producer Mike Steva releases his debut studio album ‘Who Am I’ on Osunlade’s Yoruba Records label next month. After scoring a UK number 1 single with ‘My Love’ earlier this year, Route 94 makes his debut appearance for Matt Tolfrey’s Leftroom with ‘Misunderstood’. Despite the commercial success of ‘My Love’, Route 94’s ‘Misunderstood’ is very much contemporary underground house and sees 21-year-old Rowan Jones imbue the genre with the same addictive hooks he made his name with.

Toolroom Records welcomes popular French DJ/producer, Bob Sinclar, for the release of his track ‘Back Again’. Bob Sinclar: a producer whose rich understanding of both the club dance floor and radio airwaves has led to the creation of several huge tunes and has incited the adoration of fans and fellow producers alike. 

Benny Benassi’s latest track, 'Shooting Helicopters’, comes with a big twist in that he’s recruited rock music’s Serj Tankian, (from System Of A Down), to create a compelling big room track. The track is a song that takes full advantage of Serj’s vocal range. Having played Las Vegas and Miami early this year with his “Trashed” events, Tommy Trash is ready to bring the party on the road this autumn/fall for the first time ever. Following the release of his single 'Lord Of The Trance' (one of the top five most played tracks at Tomorrowland) and a heavy summer festival schedule consisting of Electric Daisy Carnival (Vegas and NYC), HARD Summer, Tomorrowland, and Creamfields amongst others, Tommy is hitting a number of North America's top clubs in September and October.

Only a handful of names are synonymous with the true sound of progressive house; Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Hernan Catteneo, Sander Kleinenberg and… one of our favourite production teams, Gabriel & Dresden. Each one fills a space in dance music history as the true sound of the progressive genre and in the case of Gabriel & Dresden, it’s hard to find an argument in any claim that the duo should be standing tall in the Progressive DJ Hall of Fame.

To celebrate the release of the second artist album ‘ZOA’ from Dutch DJ/producer Mason, his label Animal Language has teamed up with Red Bull Studios to offer a competition prize. The winner will get the chance to have a release on Animal Language and have the track remixed by Mason at Red Bull Studios in Amsterdam.

Francesco Rossi joins forces together with MTV Europe’s Belgian Artist Of The Year nominee Ozark Henry to deliver his new single ‘Godspeed You’, the follow up to his former Ibiza 2013 DJ Awards Track Of The Season and Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune ‘Paper Aeroplane’. ‘Godspeed You’ is a punchy four-on-the-floor track for late nights or early mornings. The fusion of all genres, from deep house to modern pop, make this track pretty distinctive. 

This August will see the 2020Vision imprint release a two-track package entitled ‘Flutez’, comprising two fresh takes on the classic K.O.T (Sandy Rivera) ‘Flute’s’ composition, coming courtesy of Rivera himself and 2020 regulars, Audiojack. K.O.T aka Sandy Rivera has been releasing material under this guise since the early-90s, delivered via the likes of Strictly Rhythm, NRK, Defected and Slip ‘n’ Slide, which stands as testament to the quality of K.O.T’s output over the years. 

Armin van Buuren is about to bring the feeling of Ibiza to the rest of the world with a brand new mix compilation which is due out 9 September 2014. The album, which is available for pre-order now on iTunes is the culmination of his weekly residency each Thursday at the Ushuaïa Beach Hotel.

Six months after the original first embraced dancefloors across the globe, the Netherlands’ Man Without A Clue returns to DFTD as remixes of ‘When I Play This Record’ once again work dance floors in Ibiza and other key clubbing areas across the globe.

Rank 1 have been on form recently, especially with their 13 minute numeric track ’13-11-11’ and then ‘Freudenrausch’. Now the Dutch duo have done what some had given up hope that they’d ever do, delivering a new century, root-&-branch reworking of the track many see as their most recognisable hour… ‘Airwave’. A decade and a half since it first assailed clubs speakers, the tune that became near synonymous with the halcyon days of ID&T’s Trance Energy events returns. 

Taken from his first album recording in seven years, 'The Red Room' which is forthcoming this autumn, UK soulful artist Shaun Escoffery’s recently released track, 'Nature's Call' on Dome Records, has just been added to the BBC Radio 2 A-list. The track is a plea for people to come together and live in "love, peace and harmony,”  with a video featuring members of the general public with Shaun in the background narrating the scene. 

Dirty Dutch recently announced plans for their Central Park, NYC takeover on 14 September. Teaming up with NYC-based RPM, the show aims to be a next-level playground of new production elements, music and experiences, featuring Chuckie, Lil Jon and Gregori Klosman. Dirty Dutch is helmed by Chuckie, who has championed his Dirty Dutch musical style into a recognisable brand.

Sied van Riel hooks up with US singer-songwriter Alicia Madison for the release of ‘Gravity’, which alongside the Original Mix, there’s a selection of European remixes from the likes of Sneijder, David Forbes and Bastian Salbart. Also on board are remakes from the other side of the pond, with Jose Nuñez and Chicago duo Stephano & Torio giving the track their interpretation. 

Music On at Amnesia in Ibiza tonight provides a pleasant dose of techno and house music as Marco Carola is joined on the Terrace by Neverdogs. With over 12 years together, Neverdogs are two compatible and complementary artists with the same concept and musical vision – and this time the duo will open the room with the symbol of Neapolitan techno. 

Sankeys Music is a brand new label project set up by the Manchester club. The label is to be headed up by Darius Syrossian, the club’s current resident DJ and kicks off with a double CD mix to celebrate 20 years of Sankeys being on top of its game at the sharp end of club land. The club is apparently going well at the moment not only in Manchester, but also in Ibiza with residencies like Tribal Sessions, Cuff and ViVA, as well as in New York, which is the newest Sankeys outpost.

Madhouse Records boss Kerri Chandler should need no introduction having possibly been one of the most prominent names in underground house music for over two decades now.

Ultra Worldwide continues its expansion across the globe with Asia becoming the latest continent to welcome further new editions of Ultra’s catalogue of festivals and events. Taking place over two days on 27 & 28 September at the Tokyo Odaiba Ultra Park, the first ever edition of Ultra Japan will see fans from the Far East and beyond dancing all weekend long to the sounds of electronic music. The Playground returns to KOKO on 16 August with a lineup including headliners James Lavelle [UNKLE], Derrick May and A Guy Called Gerald (live in session) who will be performing a iive performance alongside Barem, Richard Fearless (Drone/ Death In Vegas), French Kiwi Juice (live), Last Magpie and more.

The broad output of Hi-Phi Music continues apace here with a debut EP from newcomer Konflicted Soul. Hailing from the Midlands in the UK, Konflicted Soul is a fast rising producer that here delivers three cuts, each one a fresh and contemporary offering with a slightly different stylistic bent that showcases his range of skills.

German producer Lovebirds, and his songbird Lisa Shaw, are back with remixes of 'Holdin On', featuring a pair of groove-inducing reworks by Rob Mello and The Shapeshifters.

Kris Menace and Simon Lord have teamed up for a new electronic pop project. DJ/producer, Kris Menace, has worked with the likes of Depeche Mode, LCD Soundsystem, Royksopp and Lana Del Rey amongst others, while his musical partner, Simon Lord, has a resume just as impressive. Simon was a member of Simian, with whom he won Best Music Video at the MTV European VMAs, Black Ghosts, and provided the vocals for ‘We Are Your Friends’, which Justice remixed.

Luke Black drops ‘Reflector’ on London-based imprint Tact Recordings today with an Adventures In Daydreams remix in tow. Berlin-based Luke re-joins the Tact family following his debut on the label with ‘Dry Flutter’ EP released on the label last year. The young producer supplies three originals building upon his catalogue, which has already featured releases on Organic Art Movement and BTFF Recordings. 

Cream recently announced the return of Laidback Luke to the UK with two exclusive Super You&Me shows in London on Friday 10October at O² Academy Brixton and Manchester on Saturday 11 October at Victoria Warehouse. Laidback Luke created Super You&Me as a party concept bringing the fun factor back to the dancefloor. It’s a place where artists don’t take themselves too seriously and fans are invited to join in with the Superhero theme. 

French house duo Arno Cost and Norman Doray have just released the video to 'Strong', their recently released track on Steve Angello's Size imprint. The track's already getting great reviews from Dancing Astrnaut, EDM Sauce and many more, as well as receiving great support from DJs such as Pete Tong, Laidback Luke and Sander van Doorn.

Los Angeles' rising underground talent, Justin Jay, recently released the preview of his long-awaited single, ‘Bounce And Break,’ that is set for a free release on Wednesday, 6 August.
