Their latest Vandit offering steps over to the vocal side of the trance fence and additionally finds Shaulli Harari & Israel Bircher drafting in the talents of LA-born-and-based singer/song-writer Shannon Hurley. If her name is ringing anyrecognition bells, over the last five years, the songstress has apparently made a name for herself, lending vocals to the productions of Giuseppe Ottaviani, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Protoculture, Ronski Speed and host of others from the trance frat.
Glitterbox recently announced a move to Space Ibiza to host the Terraza. The weekly Friday party will open on 12 June, and run for 16 weeks until 25 September. This collaboration is a statement of intent and marks a fundamental change to Friday nights in Ibiza. Joining the Glitterbox line-up this summer will be Fatboy Slim, Hercules & Love Affair, Todd Terje, Groove Armada, and Julio Bashmore.
Kicking off the warmer months, Major Lazer unleashed Top 10 single ‘Lean On’, a collaboration with ‘Turn Down For What’ producer DJ Snake and Denmark’s MØ, and amassed 21million plays on Soundcloud, over 65million streams on Spotify and over 20million views for the music video, making it Major Lazer's most streamed song to date. The trio have now announced a UK headline tour with dates across the country culminating in a London show at Alexandra Palace this October.
As the release of ‘Halo 5: Guardians’ on 27 October 2015 draws nearer, the cover art for the game was recently revealed online to gaming fans around the world. Several cryptic images were released to various online channels across the globe with no instructions, no explanation and no references to the Halo universe. Apparently it didn’t take long for “Halo Nation” to scour the Internet to piece together the mystery to reveal the cover art.

US soulful house trio Tortured Soul are possibly proof that modern soulful house can be freed from the DJ booth. Influenced by such classic artists as Prince, Heatwave and Kool & The Gang, the band deliver their third cool, groove-centred album, 'Hot For Your Love Tonight', dedicated to the memory of keyboard player and founding member Ethan White, who passed away suddenly in March at the age of 39. Def Mix and Ministry of Sound have combined forces to bring to the UK a 12-hour Def Mix Day & Night event on Bank Holiday Sunday 3 May. The 12-hour party begins at 3pm in Ministry of Sound’s outside area, The Courtyard, featuring a 6-foot barbecue and cocktail mixologists, with a soundtrack provided by David Morales (performing a special disco set), Ricky Morrison, and London Disco Society. Defected are honoured to announce the release of ‘House Masters Frankie Knuckles’, a charity release in collaboration with Def Mix Management and the estate of Frankie Knuckles. The album is a project that began in February 2014, with Frankie hand-selecting the productions and remixes he wanted to include on a retrospective release of his illustrious career. On the sad news of his passing on 31 March 2014, the project was duly paused. Now, with the creation of The Frankie Knuckles Fund established in partnership with the Elton John Aids Foundation, the release will finally see the light of day, with all profits being donated to the charity.
