Electronic music artist Waajeed recently announced a series of fundraising initiatives for the Underground Music Academy (UMA), a new Detroit-based community music hub, of which he’s the director, that aims to help build the future leaders of independent electronic music coming out of the city.

Odyffe are back on Nervous Records with a vocal house original entitled ‘No More. Odyffe, which stands for odyssey in ancient French, is a journey that began for Federico and Fanny, musicians and composers who are married in music and in life. Federico started studying and playing bass guitar in pop-rock, funky, reggae and blues bands from a very early age in Italy, whereas Fanny approached piano and songwriting in France.

Leeds-based Morgan Cole makes his debut on Patrick Topping’s Trick with ‘Ready For Love’, a modernist rave two-tracker featuring a house cut backed by techno. Previously known as Noizy Devil, Cole has spent the last few years honing his craft within the studio, apparently capturing the ears of leading names including Eli Brown, Richy Ahmed, PAWSA, and Patrick Topping along the way.

Aleksander Stawierej releases his first album, ‘Everything Is Connected’. The Warsaw-based artist is keyholder to monikers like Raw Tech Audio & ACIDØ; the A&R warden of the Mental Asylum label and through his Indecent Noise guise, probably its foremost resident. The latter’s an alias that - over the last 10 years - has become indivisibly linked with the sound of the 303, aiming to leave his musical bootprint on planet trance.
