Experimental electronic newcomer Jung Latch recently announced his debut release, the four-track ‘Esoteric’ EP.  Jung is the alias of East London-based composer and sound designer Rupert Galea and using an array of modular gear, vintage 8-bit samplers, instruments and his own written algorithms he makes his own style of rave music, playing with sonic collages and underpinning them with breakbeats.

Pacha Ibiza recently announced details of the Ibiza Grand Opening following a two-year closure, aiming to set its sights firmly on its biggest summer season yet. Pacha Ibiza Grand Opening will take place on Friday 29 April hosting Solomun all night long and marks a return for the venue as part of Ibiza's dance and cultural movement.

DJ/producer Calvin Harris makes a return to Ushuaïa Ibiza this summer, with his event taking place on Fridays from 3 June - 2 September. His six-date Ushuaïa Ibiza residency back in 2019 apparently drew in record crowds and this season Calvin is going even bigger, with a 14-week residency that will feature a lineup of special guests.

Originally released in 2000 and acquired by Defected records over two decades later, the chart-topping anthem has had a revival following Purple Disco Machine & Lorenz Rhode’s rework along with Italian Riva Starr’s remix package.

The Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh was recently announced as the venue for the newest addition to Scotland’s festival calendar - Connect Music Festival, which will take place between 26-28 August. The venue has been selected by Festival organisers DF Concerts & Events due to both its rural feel and the ability to make the event as accessible as possible for festival-goers from across the country.
