Ibiza Rocks recently announced DJ/producer Joel Corry as a resident for 2022, following the apparent success of his debut Ibiza Rocks residency last summer. Joel is Balearic bound in an even bigger way with a 16-week headline pool party residency every Wednesday from 8 June to 21 September.
Formed by producer Richard Mowatt as an outlet for projects outside his best-known-for, from Young Parisians’ debut single the act accrued a following. Adding to that was their catalogue, which - over the course of 20 years - held at three releases. It apparently wasn’t the quantity that counted though, with at least two of them (‘U Write The Rules’ and ‘Jump The Next Train’) growing to become popular electronic music.
Brighter Days Festival is making its debut at Sunderland’s Herrington Park this year. Taking place throughout the day and into the night on Friday 8 July, they recently unveiled the first phase of the lineup for the day.

Sander van Doorn is back on the release radar with his first offering of 2022. ‘Raindrops’ sees him joined with Brazilian act SELVA and German artist Macon, and features vocals from Chacel. The new tune directly follows Doorn’s Purple Haze releases from last year, ‘Manoeuvres’ and ‘Recover’.
Vintage Culture and Sonny Fodera come together on their latest collaboration ‘Nightjar’ on Defected. With both artists maintaining their own relationships with the London-based label, Sonny’s Defected discography and Vintage Culture’s recent tracks on the imprint demonstrate good conditions for possible success on their collaboration.
Possibly known for his electro-melodic releases and his live shows, Worakls is back in the USA for a series of live performances this winter. Having kicked off on 14 January with a series of shows in San Diego and Denver, the artist is in Dallas tonight before making his way across the country and back with gigs in Chicago, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
