Sander van Doorn is back on the release radar with his first offering of 2022. ‘Raindrops’ sees him joined with Brazilian act SELVA and German artist Macon, and features vocals from Chacel. The new tune directly follows Doorn’s Purple Haze releases from last year, ‘Manoeuvres’ and ‘Recover’.
The track immediately kicks off with a bass, paired alongside a rising tension that builds upon itself with each passing second. A beat is quickly introduced into the space, providing a four-on-the-floor rhythm and vocal cut.
The pace begins to slow as atmospherical production elements are infused, placing a central focus on the emotionally-charged lyricism. A buildup ensues, and is unleashed in with a slew of bass drops.
