Ibiza Rocks recently announced DJ/producer Joel Corry as a resident for 2022, following the apparent success of his debut Ibiza Rocks residency last summer. Joel is Balearic bound in an even bigger way with a 16-week headline pool party residency every Wednesday from 8 June to 21 September.
Joel recently celebrated a career-defining 2021 that saw him score three UK Top 20 singles (‘Bed’ w/ Raye & David Guetta, ‘Out Out’ w/ Jax Jones & ft. Charli XCX & Saweetie and ‘I Wish’ ft. Mabel), three BRIT nominations and sDJ tours in both the UK and the US plus his Ibiza Rocks residency.
Fast forward to 2022 and he is back with two more BRIT nominations and a trio of new club tracks to be released on 4 February.
‘Liquor Store’, a staple of Joel’s sets for the last two years, will land via Defected’s D4 D4NCE imprint, with ‘The Parade’ – Joel’s first ever Beatport #1, originally released as a bootleg of Da Hool’s ‘97 dance classic ‘Meet Her At The Love Parade’ in 2019 – dropping via Selected. ‘What I Need’, a tech-house cut featuring Liverpool-based DJ/producer, Lekota, will also release on Atlantic’s fdance label, SIGNAL >> SUPPLY.
