Summer 2021 sees Anjunabeats select an eclectic selection of house and techno producers to rework nine Above & Beyond tracks. ‘The Deep Mixes’ compilation features remixes of singles from Above & Beyond’s debut album ‘Tri-State’, as well as remixes of vocal tracks from their 'Group Therapy’ and ‘We Are All We Need’ albums.
Above & Beyond celebrate 450 episodes of their lradio show, Group Therapy, with a two-day outdoor festival in their hometown of London. This will be their first show with a live audience since lockdown began. The trio will be joined by rising acts and veterans from the band’s two record labels, Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep. Saturday will feature a roster of upfront trance and progressive artists, while Sunday will celebrate the deeper, atmospheric sounds of Anjunadeep.
Above & Beyond recently released a remix of ‘Sun In Your Eyes’, from California’s Spencer Brown. Spencer first appeared on Anjunabeats with ‘Wannamaker’ in 2016 and his productions blur the lines between deep house, progressive, and trance, earning a place in the record bags of artists such as deadmau5, Calvin Harris and Sasha.
UK D&B outfit Hybrid Minds remix Above & Beyond and Zoë Johnston’s ‘Love Is Not Enough’ from the 2011 album, ‘Group Therapy’. Hybrid Minds are Josh White and Matt Lowe and through their own Hybrid Music imprint, they’ve released tracks such as ‘Touch’, ‘Drowning In You’, ‘Higher Love’, and their 2020 release ‘Don’t Ever’ with DRS.
Above & Beyond recently released a four-hour ‘Group Therapy 400’ set that celebrates 20 years of Anjunabeats. Filmed on the River Thames in the band’s hometown of London, this 70-track set spanning the history of Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep is available to watch in full on YouTube now.
The latest single to be taken from their forthcoming ‘Acoustic III’ album due for release in summer 2020, Above & Beyond, Zoë Johnston and long-time collaborator, producer Bob Bradley, recently shared a reimagined take on ‘Sahara Love’.
First heard at Above & Beyond’s annual Miami Music Week party at the Old RC Cola Plant way back in 2017, ‘Hideaway’ emerges from the shadows, a fitting title for a set opener from the trio of Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki.
