Toolroom drop another track from longstanding label favourites ATFC & Gene Farris, who are back on their home turf with another collaboration, ‘The Payoff’. A comeback for the pair and a step up in energy from their 2020 releases that included the jackin’ Chicago house record ‘Spirit Of House’, their ‘R U’ track, to this latest release.
With lots of dance music accolades under their belts, the duo have been part of the scene for 30 years, living and breathing house music, producing records throughout their long careers and in turn, probably becoming a staple to house music as a whole.
‘The Payoff’ has a presence that aims to get feet moving on the dancefloor and its rhythm section explodes in with its kick and groove, driving the record hard whilst Farris’ deep tones brings its flavour.
