Chicago’s Gene Farris drops his latest club track on Toolroom this month, with fellow Chicago DJ, singer songwriter RIIJA. ‘Three Lines Deep’ utilises RIIJA’s vocals to great effect, delivering a syncopated rhythmic element that compliments Gene’s groove.

Toolroom founder Mark Knight aims to bring through the next generation of Toolroom artists and does so here as he introduces James Haskell to the label. James has been on the up over the past two years after graduating from a Toolroom Academy production course, releasing on Toolroom Trax and racking up plenty of gigs along the way.
