Chicago’s Gene Farris drops his latest club track on Toolroom this month, with fellow Chicago DJ, singer songwriter RIIJA. ‘Three Lines Deep’ utilises RIIJA’s vocals to great effect, delivering a syncopated rhythmic element that compliments Gene’s groove.
Gene should need no introduction as he’s a bonafide house DJ/producer with three decades of releases on Relief, Defected, DIRTYBIRD and his own Farris Wheel. He’s also had moments on Toolroom with ‘RU’, ‘Spirit Of House’ and this year’s ‘Problems’ with Illyus, Barrientos.
