When two of the scene’s labels join forces to spread the word of possibly one of 2020’s biggest dance tracks, it could be cause to get excited. It follows the success of KC Lights’ ‘Girl’, with has had radio plays at stations such as BBC Radio 1, and support from DJs such as Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Hardwell and Tiësto.
Toolroom present a collaboration between Mark Knight and label regular Rene Amesz. The artists last collaborated with their single ‘Live Stream’ alongside Green Velvet (2017) which has apparently gone on to achieve more than three million global streams.
2019 was apparently a massive year for Leftwing : Kody. Last year they gained 13,000,000 streams from over 3,000,000 listeners, as well as entering Pete Tong’s Essential Mix hall of fame to end the year.
Twenty-five year old KC Lights has played Cafe Mambo, Warehouse Project and played alongside MK, Jax Jones, Eli Brown, Weiss and Icarus, and is MK’s one to watch.
