Kerri Chandler recently unveiled the first details of his forthcoming new album, ‘Spaces and Places’. A global celebration of club and sound system culture, the album has apparently been created by the New Jersey producer/DJ over several years on location at 24 nightclubs around the world. The album is Kerri’s first album in over 14 years, since the 2008 release of ‘Computer Games’.
Bonobo and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs’ ‘Heartbreak’ is an ode to one of electronic music’s formative scenes: NYC’s disco revolution of the 1970s and ’80s. It’s a scene that was hugely influential on a young Kerri Chandler, and was an important precursor in the house music of which he would go on to be a formative figure.
Kerri Chandler recently announced a new show, ‘Spaces And Places’, at London’s The Roundhouse on Sunday 28 November 2021. Running from 4pm until 10pm the centre piece will be the debut of Chandler’s Reel to Reel performance.The new experience will also feature holograms and live projection mapping in the venue’s ‘round’ space.
