The label has once again partnered with football fashion brand Meyba to create the limited-edition shirt and this year's edition displays a new Defected worldwide globe icon and Defected 2026 football patch alongside a colourful, flags-of-the-world pattern down each sleeve that aims to represent the global nature of Defected and house music.

Defected recently revealed the full line-up for its 2026 Ibiza season at Chinois Ibiza, taking over Thursday nights from 7 May to 8 October. Marking a new chapter for the label at the club in the heart of Ibiza’s Marina, walking distance from Ibiza Town, the 23-week residency brings together a variety of house music talent.

Grammy award-winning artist Purple Disco Machine joins the list of Defected House Masters with a celebratory 30-track digital compilation and 12-track vinyl. The German DJ/producer, Tino Pointek, AKA Purple Disco Machine, is a possible blueprint for what makes a successful dance music artist in the modern age; respected on the underground scene while achieving major crossover success with remixes for the likes of Sir Elton John, Dua Lipa and Mark Ronson.

Defected and Glitterbox recently revealed their line-ups for their separate 2025/26 New Year’s celebrations in London, with O2 Academy Brixton hosting Defected NYE for the first time and Glitterbox returning to KOKO Electronic. Last year’s NYE party saw Defected and Glitterbox come together to deliver at Manchester’s The Warehouse Project @ Depot Mayfield. For 2025/26, the brands are both bringing the party back to their hometown of London for separate parties.
