Sophie Lloyd returns to Classic with a reimagining of her 2022 release ‘Angels By My Side’. After a label debut with Dames Brown, ‘Calling Out’, this subsequent outing with Faithless vocalist Pauline Taylor was instrumental in establishing the Brighton-based producer as a soul house artist.
Classic recently unveiled a two-track EP from Texas-born artist Seven Davis Jr. ‘Iss Good / Problematic’. Growing up inspired by legendary black vocalists Prince, Aretha and Stevie, Seven honed his classic gospel and jazz training into soulful, electronic house with an artistic edge, garnering attention for his self-released work and ushering in a wave of releases from various labels.
Robert and Lyric Hood, aka Floorplan, return to Classic with the two-track release ‘The Curse Breaker / What You Need’, further demonstrating their gospel house sound.
