HI-LO delivers his latest production just in time for the summer rave season as he reshapes Temper’s ‘Intrigue Hard Club Mix’. With a rolling low-end groove, percussion, and vocal hooks chanting the line, “Ain’t nothin’ but tutti-frutti, get on the floor if you’ve got that booty,” he aims to strike the balance between big-room power and underground attitude.

Apparently a staple in recent live sets from artists such as Adam Beyer and Joseph Capriati, ‘Work That Body’ may already be making an impact.
HI-LO: “I’ve been loving the resurgence of high-energy trance, hard house, hard groove, and speed garage in the last couple of years, which has been noticeable in my DJ sets and some of my releases as well. When I heard Malugi, one of my favorite DJs who’s part of that resurgence, play the original Hard Club Mix of Temper's 'Work That Body' from 2001 in his Boiler Room debut, I just could not resist updating and reworking that track into a modern peak time Reese bass monster.
“The rework process took a slight detour, as Malugi also wanted to try some things with my new version; however, in the end, he left it up to me. And after a lot of tweaks and after lots of roadtesting in my own sets, but also in sets of Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Joseph Capriati, and Eli Brown, I’m really happy with the great live reactions and I can’t wait for the rest of the world to have this infectious tune!”
This new version maintains the raw, high-energy spirit of the original while infusing it with techno flair, positioning the track for both festivals and raves.
