Tedd Patterson continues to push his musical boundaries with his productions and still regularly plays at various dance music events. An NYC originator, through his residencies at various clubs, he apparently played a central part in establishing the scene and sound that continues today. Here, he collaborates with Inaya Day to drop his next release, ‘Piece Of Me’ on SoSure Music.
This latest drop, his first since 2019, is packed with bags of sass, NYC swing and a kicking backbeat. With rolling beats, synth stabs and diva vocals, it's Inaya who delivers the chorus.
Tedd is best known for his DJ performances at New York’s Cielo, where he had a 13 year residency, in addition to the The Magic Sessions alongside Louie Vega and Tony Humphries. He also plays regularly at Berlin’s Panorama Bar, the NYC Sunday night Battle Hymn and the polysexual party House Of Yes.
As a producer and remixer, he has made appearances on labels including Strictly Rhythm, Nervous, Defected, Stereo, Junior Boys Own, Unquantize and Rekids.
With a slew of releases lined up to drop and a DJ tour already in the making, it’s a busy year for him.
