The ‘Circular Motions’ EP features two new tracks from Broom and three from Sims' vaults. Broom opens the EP with ‘Nothing to Do’, a propulsive track that counterpoints its drum track with vocals and a solitary horn stab. Sims opens his account on ‘Circular Motion’ with an updated version of his 2013 limited-release vinyl-only track ‘Unity’, a churning and percussive production with snaking melodies.

Last month, UK techno artist Mark Broom returned to Rekids Special Projects with Vol. 2 of his ‘Mutated Battle Breaks’ series. Following the ‘Funfzig LP’ on the label earlier this year, as well as the first volume of ‘Mutated Battle Breaks’, Mark returns with another set of eight tracks for Radio Slave’s techno-focussed imprint.

UK techno artist Mark Broom releases his ‘Fast Fünfzig EP’ for Radio Slave’s Rekids this month, ahead of a full LP for the label in July. Mark’s discography shows an artist who has put in the hours, with appearances on imprints such as Robert Hood’s M-Plant, Warp Records, Pure Plastic, Bpitch Control, and of course Rekids.

The first part of the EPM20 celebrations sees a series of three multi-artist EPs released across the summer, each focussing on a different genre – techno, electro and house – the three main pillars of the label’s musical heritage.
