Christian Burns apparently hasn’t taken his foot off the gas this year, and in the run-up to the successor to his ‘Love Songs From Suburbia’ LP, nor is he likely to. That acceleration has already given us ‘Fall To You’ and ‘Darker Days’. Now, to pull off a trifecta, he’s brought in Australia’s Little Foot for ‘I Will Follow’.

The song sits at the intersection where vulnerability meets true commitment, capturing the singular tension of that final split-second of hesitation. Lines like “the first fire” and “the last
dance” hint at those life-defining, make-or-break moments, that it’s really about going with your gut, even when you’re not quite sure how it’s all going to land.
Framing the song musically is Australian producer Dave Winnel (of Armin, Kryder and Tommy Trash collabing fame), here under his recently fired-up Little Foot alias. Dave’s production weaves
synths, layers, and undulating builds into its enveloping soundscape. Think Ben Böhmer meets Lane 8, meeting RÜFÜS DU SOL, and you’re most of the way there.
Christian Burns + Little Foot ‘I Will Follow’ is out now on Black Hole Recordings.
