Ellis Moss

Back onto the Toolroom label and fresh from his last cut ‘Emergency’, resident Ellis Moss is back with another, chunky deep tech roller – ‘Get Mad’. The London based DJ/producer delves deeper into a toughened-up club sound, as he aims to blur the lines between tech house and techno to carve out a space for himself within the underground.

The track features many of the components that could make a certified club banger, with a rolling groove, subs and an oscillating synth stab that lingers throughout the record. The vocal cut throws in an unorthodox edge to the track, reaffirming the track’s jilted but relevant message.

Falling in line with current events around the world, Ellis has tapped into the state of play with his production. Offering up a sound that moves into a new direction for the artist, it’s a cut that UK bods may well be reloading in their sets as it attempts to hit the sub-woofers hard with its low-slung styling and roughed up production.
