With 2023 is just around corner, Toolroom aim to up their game with one more outing of tech house to send off 2022. Introducing German selector Eddie Thoneick who makes a label debut with his club orientated track ‘Take It Back’.
Taking it back to the dancefloor, Eddie is a name known for various productions, providing remixes for Armand Van Helden, Steve Angello, Bob Sinclar and David Guetta. His releases span labels including Axtone Records, Spinnin’ Records, Subliminal and now Toolroom, whilst rubbing shoulders as a DJ with the likes of Tom Starr, Kurd Maverick, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and more.
Rewinding back to the track – ‘Take It Back’, his chunky production style on this one cuts right through. Offering up a slice of raw tech house with deep, rumbling basslines, metallic percussive elements and a hook which aims to cause uproar in any club it’s played in.
