Four Hands

Making their debut on Kyiv imprint Dear Deer Music, German DJs and producers Four Hands present their newest EP ‘Wasted Wonders’, which is out now. One of the main genres in the electronic scene in the late-90s then fading away somewhat at the millennium, there’s been a resurgence of trance in recent years. A combination of many sound forms such as techno, house, industrial, classical music and more it has like many genres developed over time, just like the musical style of Alex and Marcel, otherwise known as Four Hands.

Over their musical careers Four Hands have gone through the movements of deeper sounds, into harder techno, meanwhile keeping focus on melodic synthesisers, atmospheric sounds and layered percussions. All elements that characterise the genre of trance, these can also be seen across this EP.

Featuring two originals from the duo, the EP title track sits on the melodic side with strings, meanwhile ‘Inner Storm’ carries a progressive bass and synths.

Supported by various names such as Solomun, Kevin de Vries and newly Nicole Moudaber, the duo have been making their mark in the progressive trance and surrounding scenes in recent times. They have their own record label Verspielt Musik based in Frankfurt am Main in Germany that focuses on tracks with a sound from melodic to techno that has its own show case, inviting artists like Artbat and Musumeci to feature on line ups.
