Solardo’s first-ever Trick record, ‘Psycho’, was released yesterday, hot on the heels of the label's 100th release from head honcho Patrick Topping. The title cut opens up proceedings in a rugged, stomping fashion with subtle hints of electroclash. The off-balance bass makes for a wonky workout while distorted synth pressure and sung-spoken vocals aim to send the party wild.
Landing back on the label with hands in the air on this rework of a house classic is Solardo and their take on 'Le Voie Le Soleil' from Patrick Prins. Timed for the end of club and festival season, this is a version that stays true to the original’s signature yearning piano stabs whilst also being aimed for today’s dancefloors.
