Not long after his comeback on the Ultra Europe main stage, Dash Berlin recently released 'Lonely Man' featuring Simon Ward via Reliant Music, his first brand-new single in five years. His Ultra Europe set apparently quickly became one of the festival's most-watched performances online, reflecting the excitement from some surrounding his comeback.
Dash Berlin: “Ultra has always held a special place in the history of Dash Berlin. Returning there and sharing this new music with the fans was an unforgettable moment. The response has been incredible, and I'm excited that everyone can finally hear 'Lonely Man'."
Following the apparent success of Alan Walker, Dash Berlin & Vikkstar – Better Off (Alone, Part III), this latest track marks the first fully original Dash Berlin release of this new era. It also represents the first-ever collaboration with British singer-songwriter Simon Ward, whose previous credits include collaborations with Armin van Buuren.
The collaboration began when Simon pitched his vocals to Dash, and, inspired by the emotional depth of Ward's voice, he crafted a fresh musical direction that blends the project's sound with a mature, modern, and progressive trance edge. Alongside the original version, the release package also includes the club mix, which has apparently already generated excitement.
With multiple performances already scheduled throughout 2026 and 2027, the track marks the beginning of a new chapter for him.
