He has developed a sound that merges warm organic elements with darker synthetic textures, and his productions combine dancefloor percussion with melodic composition, creating a style that glides between melodic techno, indie dance, and house music influences.

His journey into electronic music commenced at a young age when he started DJing in clubs while growing up in Europe, developing an early fascination with house and techno. In recent years, he channelled a period of personal loss into a creative catalyst, expanding his focus towards music production to pursue a lifelong dream.

To date, his accolades and milestones include his 2025 debut EP ‘Abyss’ via Dear Deer, which reached number three on the overall Beatport chart, establishing him as an emerging artist within the melodic house & techno and indie dance scenes.

Following up the release with another EP ‘This Feeling’ via Nihil Young’s Frequenza imprint, which featured a collaboration with vocalist Sophie Joe, he then signed with Tube & Berger’s ZEHN Records to unveil ‘Not Right’.

More recently, he also remixed the Timo Maas track ‘Macumba’ for Selador, the imprint co-founded by Dave Seaman and Steve Parry, and released ‘Sardegna’ with UGENIUS, the Australian label run by The Journey.

Stefan Rose: “My latest release ‘Closing In’ represents another step forward in my artistic journey, perfectly capturing the melodic atmospheres, powerful vocals and fulsome percussion that comprise my current sound. It’s a hypnotic single that will rock a dancefloor in the moment but also stay with you long after the night is over.”

Beyond his own original productions, he has also built momentum through a series of edits, including his rework of Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Leave The World Behind’ and his reinterpretation of David Guetta’s ‘The World Is Mine’.

Now splitting his time between New York and London, he continues to expand his profile, supported by a strong presence in both cities.

Stefan Rose’s ‘Closing In’ is released via Music is 4 Lovers on 31 July.
