UK house DJ/producer Joshwa returns to Insomniac Records for his fifth appearance since 2022 with his new single, ‘If It’s Real’, a minimal tech production that showcases his sound. Originally from London, he is a seasoned producer currently based in New York, and his discography favours groove-driven, underground energy and hooks.

The track centres on a spoken-word synth hook asking for clarity in a relationship, complemented by a moody, energetic rhythm, featuring rolling drums, a heavy low-end, sustained string pads, phaser stabs, two-chord loops, and pitch-drifting LFOs. 

He has appeared on the label with previous singles ‘Kerching’, ‘Papi’, ‘VIP Business’ and last year's ‘Wildflower’, the last of which drew radio plays from SiriusXM BPM, KCRW, Kiss FM UK, NRG, and Radio FG. 

He has released music with Danny Howard, Solardo, Iglesias, Noizu, Lee Foss, and Enzo Is Burning, which have garnered radio support. He's currently in the midst of his North American 'Out Of My Mind' Tour, including stops at Audio SF, Bijou, CNTRL Room, The Barbary, CODA, Prysm, bauhaus, Night We Met, Zenyara, Elrow Dallas, Spotlight, and EOS Lounge.
