Oscar G & Stefano Ranieri

Oscar G and Stefano Ranieri have been figures within house music for over 30 years, and now deliver a house and salsa-inspired track, ‘Los Amigos’ feat. Ondadevoz on Nervous. The seven-track EP explores and warps the song in its fullness, featuring a reprise mix, instrumental mix, and remixes from TRACE and Lalo Leyy. Vibrant drums, shakers, and salsa-inspired piano chords create the bedrock of the tracks, as Spanish vocals and blossoming trumpets carry listeners through a continuous groove.

With over 35 years of musical history, Oscar G released house music with tracks on his label ‘Murk’, including records like Liberty City’s ‘Some Lovin’ and Interceptor’s ‘Together’ and his productions alongside Ralph Falcon.

He has been responsible for eight Billboard number ones, as well as being awarded ‘BEST RESIDENT DJ’ by D.J. TIMES during his Space residency, marking himself as a highly in-demand DJ/producer, and songwriter.

Raineri is possibly known for his contribution to the Italian house scene in the ‘90s, playing at clubs across the country. His releases and collaborations with labels such as ‘Nulu’, ENSOULED, and CATELE RECORDINGS dive into his love for Afro-house, gaining support from artists Carl Cox, Louie Vega, and Kenny dope.

Remixer TRACE’s productions are dancefloor-driven, platformed by labels Hot Creations, Hellbent, and IN/ROTATION, and helping to shape the next generation of nightlife in his home country, Uzbekistan.

His remix of ‘Los Amigos’ adopts energetic percussion layered over a driving, deep bass, re-shaping the track to a club-charged cut. Producer Lalo Leyy from ‘Mexico’ is possibly known for his blending of house music with Latin soul and organic grooves. Pushing this narrative further, Lalo Leyy unveils a deep-cut remix of ‘Los Amigos’, centred on punchy percussion that builds and carries the track over waves of a driving bassline.
