Canada’s TUSH (Kamilah Apong and Jamie Kidd) follow up their 2025 ‘Heavy Weather’ EP with a remixed revision, featuring a remix of lead single, ‘Push’ by German house music artist, lan Pooley, and a collection of further remixes by Afrique Like Me, Pursuit Grooves, and Olive T.

The house and disco duo’s original ‘Heavy Weather’ EP featured an all-star cast of vocalists and musicians, layered live instrumentation with electronic hardware, and received support from Sasha,
Laurent Garnier, Radio Slave, and DJ Bone.
The EP is now reimagined, with the single ‘Push’ reprised by Ian Pooley, evoking his deep, jazzy, and dubby style with a bassline and MPC Swing.
Toronto-based trio Afrique Like Me celebrate alternative music from across Africa and the diaspora, drawing inspiration from classic house and the South African electronic scene to produce this
remix of ‘The Fit’, transforming it into an Afro-tech dance track.
Olive T of Nervous Records and Permanent Vacation goes for a stripped-down feel with hard-hitting percussion in ‘Like a Rock’, where melodies meet raw vocals. Pursuit Grooves’ remix is hypnotic,
balancing fragility and toughness, blending deep machine soul with Kamilah Apong’s vocals.
Tush ‘Heavy Weather Remixes' is out now.
