Defected brings an apparent fan favourite house track back to streaming services with Route 94’s ‘4Get The Girl’. Since UK No.1 ‘My Love’ with Jess Glynn in 2014, Route 94 would go on to build his status as possibly one of the UK’s most recognisable house artists, playing on various event stages for electronic music and remixing house tracks, including Ben Westbeech’s ‘Jack’ (as Breach) and ‘Look Right Through’ by Storm Queen.
Formerly named ‘Forget The Girl’, this release began circulating in the 2010s, with the original project locked away on a laptop he could not access for years. The track would go on to earn 35 million streams via independent service Distrokid.
Route 94 ‘4Get The Girl’ is out this Friday, 10 April via Defected Records.
