His multicultural upbringing continues to inform his work, which is infused with depth and melody, aiming to convey true meaning. His drums land heavy, and his possible knack for a catchy top line always stands out on labels like Connected and Ouïe.
'News Flash' was born as winter was ending and spring was beginning to emerge. It was during this transition that the idea of SONARA becoming a real label moved from dream to concrete reality, and plenty of excitement was in the air.
David created the track in that atmosphere and translates the same feeling of movement, change, and forward momentum that defined those months. It is the sound of something waking up, something beginning, and the energy that the whole team shared before the label officially launched.
There is a subtle, ever-present feeling of joy and celebration in the groove and melodies. Synths rise through the mix, and percussion keeps things moving while an Eastern lead emerges to add playfulness.
