Andrew Meller is apparently ‘one of dance music’s most in-demand artists’. The Serbian DJ, producer, and REWLER Records boss continues to feature in charts with material on labels like Diynamic, Saved Records, and Circus Recordings, while his “Reincarnation Mix” of Underworld’s ‘Born Slippy’ held Beatport #1 for 50 days.
On his latest release, he steps out on Junior Jack’s Adesso Music with ‘Groovin’ / Dance To The Rhythm’, with a follow-up double A-side set to drop next year.
Opener ‘Groovin’ delivers a synth-fuelled track drenched in retro attitude. Kicks and pitched-up vocal chops power the groove as background details swirl toward a possible euphoric dancefloor drop.
‘Dance To The Rhythm’ flips the switch with basslines and bars delivering an all-out hip-house track. Playful leads and vox samples collide in a breakdown, before the drop unleashes a possible hands-in-the-air moment.
