Miss Monique recently announced a collaboration with Italian duo Glowal on her own Siona Records. The two-track release ‘Rollin’’/ 'Lost On A Dancefloor’ aims to bridge emotion, movement, and melodic intensity. ‘Rollin’’ fuses deep drive with melodic finesse and is full of atmosphere.
‘Lost On A Dancefloor’ channels driving percussion, synth layers, and vocal textures, a late-night track aimed to captivate, and has apparently been a standout track for Miss Monique's performances over the summer.
Miss Monique: “I’ve been a huge fan of Glowal’s music for a long time - their sound has always felt unique to me. With ‘Rollin’’ and ‘Lost On A Dancefloor’ our worlds truly connect - blending energy, melody and emotion into one story. This EP is about constant motion - both in sound and in life - always moving forward, no matter what.”
This drops at the end of a big summer for her, from having her first residency in Ibiza in the Club Room at Hi Ibiza, to being voted into DJ Mag's Top 100 DJ poll for the first time and winning the award for Best Progressive / Melodic DJ in the DJ Awards in Ibiza.
Glowal, the Italian duo of Fabio Giannelli and Alessandro Gasperini, bring their emotive, rhythm-driven sound to Siona Records. With releases on Afterlife, Innervisions, UPPERGROUND, Diynamic, and their own Sementa, their music has drawn support from Tale Of Us, Solomun, Maceo Plex, Fideles, and ARTBAT. Their touring includes Tomorrowland, Zamna, Extrema Outdoor, and clubs like Fabric, Watergate, and Hï Ibiza.
