Helsloot presents a new take on Sailor & I’s ‘Best of Me’, taken from his forthcoming album 'Body Language Vol.27'. Originally released in 2020 with Ukrainian duo ARTBAT on Get Physical’s sister label METAPHYSICAL, the track apparently became a melodic techno anthem. The year after, Sailor & I included his own original album mix on ‘Diving For Lost Treasure’, showcasing its depth as a vocal-driven piece, before this new remix by Helsloot.

This marks the fifth single taken from the campaign leading up to the album’s release on 14 November. He takes the vocal and frames it in a indie-dance leaning style, riding on a reduced, hypnotic bassline and synth layers. Traditional breakbeat elements weave into the track’s groove, creating a balance between modern melodic house and a nod to classic electronic forms. At the centrepiece sits Sailor & I’s vocal, left exposed in a break before his synths take over.
For Helsloot, possibly known for his 600M+ streaming track ‘Because You Move Me’ with Tinlicker and his debut album ‘Never Tried’, this remix reflects his ability to honour older material while making it his own. It continues the narrative of Body Language, a series that started as DJ mixes in the early-2000s and has since evolved into artist albums, with Helsloot at the helm for its 27th edition.
‘Best of Me (Helsloot Version)’ is a continuation of the track’s legacy and is out now on Get Physical Music.
