Raven Records launched earlier this year and has already had two releases. The third comes from co-founder D Ramirez, the Sheffield-born artist who has aimed to push boundaries over the last few decades. He innovates while drawing on house, techno, prog, and electro.
As well as underground tracks, he has had a chart hit with his remix of Bodyrox's 'Yeah Yeah’, is an Ivor Novello nominee, and continues with his work through Raven Studios and his DJ sets.
This release, ‘Marimboid', is a driving house cut with bass. Synths and melodies unfold up top as the groove rolls on for possible full-bodied reactions in the club.
