Every year, a group of artists, industry friends and music lovers cycle from London to Amsterdam Dance Event as part of Bridges For Music to raise funds for creative education in underserved communities in South Africa. Past riders include Richie Hawtin, Joris Voorn, Chris Liebing, Pan-Pot, Parallelle and many others. Over time, it's apparently become a bit of a tradition and a meaningful (and sustainable) way to arrive at ADE.
This year's ride is an important one: alongside continuing to support the music academy in Langa, Bridges are expanding with a new facility for younger kids and a bigger after-school program. You can join the ride this year with Mark Knight, Maps Maponyane, Goldfish, Msaki, Eli & Fur, and many more artists.
