DJ/producer Tommy Veanud recently unveiled a new cover of Lana Del Rey’s track, ‘Summertime Sadness’. Reinterpreting the original version with Afro-inspired percussion, melodic synths, and a newly recorded male vocal, it will be released on 4 September via TV Recordings.

Tommy’s new take is the next entry in his growing catalogue of dancefloor-focused productions. With a blend of emotive melodies and Afro house rhythms, the track aims to showcase his ability to merge heartfelt songwriting with club and festival energy.
Tommy Veanud: “The song you want to dance barefoot to in the summer rain, the one that makes you fall in love, dream deeply, notice every bright spot in each day, and look ahead to the future with hope and faith.”
