Swiss artist Juli Lee brings real emotional depth to her take on deep house and techno, featured on labels such as Upon You Records, MYR, and Klaus:elle. She is apparently obsessed with sound design, modulated waveforms and spacious bass, and has taken her immersive sounds all around Europe.
This new creative partnership is the result of a lifelong friendship between two women who share a similar outlook on life and art. While reading a selection of DeVaux's poems, Juli Lee was struck by one in particular that describes the moment a person becomes freed from painful experience, but without any regret for what happened.

The vocal melody was the final phase, during which DeVaux responded to the musical interpretation of her words and thoughts as she sang the poem for the first time in the studio.
'The Art Of Walking Away' is a mid-tempo electronic house lullaby. The spacious bass and widescreen pads glow with warmth as melodies and deft effects bring the soundscape to life.
The poem adds depth, and its tones aim to draw you into the groove.
