Two house music artists join forces on 'Sito' with a tribal-edged cut for the summer. Sanchez (UK) and Malóne bring their sounds together, fusing percussion, a looped vocal hook and a rolling groove that’s possibly as suited to the terrace as it is to a dark room.
Sanchez (UK) has been clocking up residencies in Ibiza and Dubai and tours across America and Australia, and support from Jamie Jones, Roger Sanchez, and The Martinez Brothers. With eight Beatport number ones and his Time Bandits imprint gaining traction, he aims to balance underground credibility with wide-reaching appeal.
Malóne steps in fresh from a headline summer at Space Miami and European dates at Pacha, Hï Ibiza and Fabric. The Cuban-born artist has released on labels like Watergate, Saved and Abracadabra, hit number one on Beatport’s Afro House chart, and launched his WHYNOTUS label and event series.
The remix comes from Crazy Cousinz, who reimagines the track through a more reflective lens. Swapping out the percussive edge for melodic house textures, the UK producer adds pads and synth work to draw out a more atmospheric feel without losing the feel of the original.
Time Bandits aims to establish itself as a go-to label for DJs looking for club-focused house with impact. Since launching in 2019, it’s racked up over 20 Beatport number ones, with releases from Sanchez (UK), Baligion, Hutu and more. The label’s sound walks the line between tough and accessible, with each release going for serious traction.
