Alex Wann presents his debut original production on Defected, ‘Right’. Having apparently earned respect from artists including Keinemusik, CamelPhat and Kelis, his 2024 release ‘Peperuke’ (featuring singer-songwriter Nes Mburu) apparently became a summer anthem that is still on the rise.
He was then called up to mark Defected's 25th anniversary with a remix of FCL’s house staple ‘It’s You’. Continuing to build on his relationship with the London label through 2025, he now delivers this latest production.

With traces of his Afro house inspirations melding with hard-hitting house designed for the club, the record has already seen support from the likes of Solomun, Liva K, Major League DJz, Arodes and Andrea Oliva.
