René LaVice and Inja have joined forces on ‘Go Nuts’, which is out now via René’s own label, Device. The instrumental had been brewing for over a year, full of sound design and basslines, and what came back was one of the most electrifying vocal takes René’s ever received.
This is the first time the two have collaborated, with both artists apparently known for crossing boundaries: René through his production, radio presence, and remixes (The Prodigy, Craig David, Diplo); and Inja through his flow, outspoken lyricism, and presence on stages from hospitality to the DMC World Championships.
The track is the sound of two artists who have spent years building their own lanes. Inja through his lyrical activism, poetry, and versatility, René through cuts like ‘Headlock’ and ‘The Calling’, his Fast & Furious soundtrack work, and his apparent championing of new talent on the Device label.
