In September 2024, Defected Records apparently made its mark on London’s Drumsheds, welcoming 15,000 house music enthusiasts to the label’s hometown for an all-day, three-room affair. The event showcased the best of what the label and sister labels Glitterbox and D4 D4NCE had to offer. Now, on 20 September, the label makes its comeback to the warehouse venue, with a line-up that capitalises on the successes of last year.
Defected will head Room X, with MK returning after a headline set last year. Jungle make their debut and Dennis Ferrer goes B2B with HoneyLuv, Sam Divine and Low Steppa deliver the label’s sound in full, while Ella Knight rounds off the line-up.
Over in Room Y, Glitterbox delivers a combination of DJ talent, production and its usual band of performers and dancers. Representing the brand’s party ethos are The Shapeshifters, Melvo Baptiste B2B Aroop Roy, Kirollus, Young Pulse, Yasmin and a special guest who has not played for Glitterbox in the UK yet.
D4 D4NCE returns to Room Z, bringing with it a host of house DJs; Alex Mills, Majestic,Beyond Chicago, Lloyd Nwagboso and RHD B2B VIRDU.
