Long-time collaborators SHADED and Harvard Bass join forces once again on their latest single, ‘Oscillate’, which is out now on via Insomniac’s IN / ROTATION. The track is a low-slung tech tool aimed for late-night business. An elastic bassline, 808s, and percussive accents anchor it.

Prior to this release, the pair already boasts an extensive history of mutual remixes and collaborations, with cuts like ‘Time Wasting’ and ‘Body Feel, showcasing their chemistry and setting the tone for their latest release.
SHADED: “We always gel in the studio. West Coast California is in our roots. We have so many similar influences that it's just easy to make records together.”

Harvard Bass: “This happened to be my fourth time collaborating with SHADED.
Every time we are in the studio together we have so much fun and you can hear it in the
music. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it.”
Southern California-bred producer SHADED has apparently been a staple of the underground
scene for more than a decade, pushing his blend of funky, psychedelic-filled grooves through a host of genres ranging from tech house, indie dance, electro, techno, and beyond. His catalogue has been praised by artists including Pete Tong (who awarded him ‘Essential New Tune’ status), as well as support from Mixmag’s (including a ‘Tune of the Month’ feature), and has been praised by Tiga, Patrick Topping, Jamie Jones, and Dubfire.
Mexican-American producer Harvard Bass is part of the underground circuit and possibly known for his tech rhythms, with releases with names like Green Velvet, Brodinski, Oliver Dollar and Prok & Fitch.
